About Matthew

The Affiliated Club Coordinator (ACC) is the primary contact and resource person for each amateur radio club in the section. The ACC helps coordinate the League benefits that are provided to the local ARRL-affiliated clubs. The ACC is appointed by, and reports to, the Section Manager.

He upgraded to General class the next year and two years later was issued N4DLA while a college student in Tennessee. From 1990 to 1998, he served as an Assistant Emergency Coordinator for the Mountain View, California Amateur Radio Emergency Service, K6MTV. In 2007, he co-founded the ARRL-affiliated Lamorinda Radio Interest Group, K6ORI. He received the “Good Citizen’s Commendation Award” in 1994 from the Mountain View Fire Department and the “Ham of the Year Award” in 2018 from the ARRL-affiliated Mount Diablo Amateur Radio Club, W6CX.
